It doesn't matter if people are interested. It's about you taking your stuff and shouting out into the void.

LIFE DOESN’T HAVE TO BE SO DAMN HARD!

April 15, 2010

Yeah, it really doesn’t.  All creations by God: humans, animals, plants, down to the lowliest creepers on the face of the earth or deep within and down under, you will agree with me that all are uniformedly given FREE WILL and each a DISTINCTIVE RIGHT to procreation or reproduction.

See that! Got a catchy heading there, overused though, but surely an introduction to lift your eyebrow a little and rather put you ill at ease if you have a little something against it.  But seriously, for lack of something better to write, and just to keep this blog rolling, I will venture on this, hoping to break the monotony, if not really just adding another old recipe to my autobiography.

I was musing that GOD, with due REVERENCE AND HOMAGE TO HIS ALL-CONSUMING POWER AND GLORY, must be at a quandary too, thinking how that FREE WILL has gotten so UNEVEN for humans thru evolutions.  The distinctive right to procreation, no question about that. Everyone in his right senses enjoys it, even going to excesses of it when overjoyed or thru plain over-indulgence. A sure sin.

But the distribution and acquisition of wealth had become a perenial malady affecting humans for ages.   Going beyond the extremes of their FREE WILLs just to have it.  Even  employing illegal and unorthodox plans and strategies to acquire it.  The worst scenario, those who have the most are the ones really craving for more.  Another sin.

Those are just two of the many evils in our midst where only God knows the reason for its persistence.  But  since GOD IS ALL KNOWING, surely HE KNOWS what to do about it. But what if GOD really decided to put an end to all humans’ pains and predicaments, HE could possibly do it with just a snap of HIS FINGER!

I’m not trying to pre-empt GOD or even encroach upon HIS DIVINE RIGHTS TO DO HIS WILL.  This is just a proposition, an idea for casual discussion, as if you’re in my shop over a cup of coffee, and smoke if you will, the risk is yours and mine I smoke too a lot.

But beforehand, if really this is a thoughtless idea, I BEG FORGIVENESS TO THE LORD FOR LIFTING HIS NAME INTO THIS.  HE KNOWS WHAT’S ON MY MIND, before even my attempting to do it, and surely, if this is not proper, I would have felt some reprimanding, or guilt,  or otherwise HE WOULD HAVE NOT ALLOWED ME TO EVEN THINK OF IT.  The idea is…

If God will EMPHATICALLY  give you a choice to RESTART a new life with all the existing conditons or situations of the world UNMODIFIED what would you choose!  Would you pick being a human again?  Or would you rather be a fish, a dog, a cat, a worm, a plant, a hammer, or an ant or whatever!

It’s probably a perplexing question or proposition for individuals who have learned to love so devotedly the mundane world and find it hard to forego those earthly sweets, niceties and goodies in it.  The luxuriously successful and famous, as we call it.

In fact, these individuals qualifying themselves in that category would probably opt God for a NOT APPLICABLE or maybe EXEMPTED option!  These are the VERY RICH, the kings and queens, raking in more riches and rolling in comfort and luxuries; next, the RICH, just a step below the ladder of success, and would surely choose remaining humans and would request God for some more money; the POOR, the next level below RICH, these are the averaged income group who would pick being humans again and surely too would request God for more more money. Oh what a money-minded people! I know!    .

VERY POOR - the lowest level of humans, these are the people who have neither known how it is to live as normal humans do nor have anymore inkling what to do with their lives, if at all!  There still lots of them  all around the world.  This is just my deduction, look around see for yourself.

I had tried in several occasions to chat those UNDER-BRIDGE DWELLERS, SIDESTREETS NUTS OR MONGERS, and the SAMUEL BELIBETH CLONES, as I call it, yet to no avail.  They shunned me away as if I’m a stinking SOB, sick with leprosy.

But luckily, in the wee hours of one eerie moonless night, I stumbled upon a NIGHT STALKER plying our neighborhood ransacking piles of garbage, here and there, salvaging all salvageables. Yes, he chatted with me.  Learned his whereabouts: he’s an under-bridge dweller, a sidestreet nut and a samuel belibeth junkie all rolled in one.

Before parting I asked him “If God would give you a new life what would you like to be”  Rather snarkly he quipped, “Funny! That ain’t true! But I’m really waiting for God TO DO JUST DAMN THAT!”  Watching him packed all he’d salvaged I insisted, “Then what would you be?” As he turned his back and walked away, he barely uttered, “I WANT TO BE A BIRD.”

Yeah, life doesn’t have to be so damn hard.  I want to be a bird, too.  I will leave behind all my worries, my frustrations, my envies, my enmities, my obsessions, my dreams, my pride, and all there is I will not carry  as I take my flight away free, light and easy, high up to the sky.  When God granted me that, you will surely miss me in this blog.

Kat Cuayzon’s comment:

LIFE DOESN’T NEED TO BE DAMN HARD… hhhmmnnn

for me, life is really damn hard! but what matters most is how you’ll gonna play the mode of your existence… a weakling might say “i was born a loser, and i’ve got no luck” … well i’ll say, he became one because he chose to be one!!! if you planned, then failed, make another plan again and work harder on it, untill you succeed!

in life, there are 3 things that you cannot avoid, TAX, CHANGES, AND DEATH… tax, is damn hard to pay, changes includes trials that needs adjustments (adjustments, which again, damn hard thing to do)…and death (hhmmnnn) what can i say about it.. THE END …???

To Kat Cuayzon:

Thanks again! I highly appreciate your active interaction in this blog, and I’m really very glad.

That phrase: “Life doesn’t have to be so damn hard” is more of a slogan for those who are really decided to achieve their goals in life. You are absolutely right in all your statements. Decisive planning and persistence are really that matter most. To express it in some other way, it’s like “Success is not in never falling, but in rising every time you fall.” Just don’t fall in a steep cliff breaking all your body and soul to pieces.

Then that is Death. . . the way it is . . . the end.

Thanks Kat, keep blogging!

“ako tito, kung papipiliin, gusto ko maging ako pa rin, para naman, maituwid ang mga pagkakamali at pagyabungin ang mga bagay na nakatulong sa akin at sa aking pamilya. . . . Sino ba kasi ang nagsabi na mahirap mabuhay. . . it’s all in the mind, remember . . . “what the mind of man conceived and believed, the man can achieved.” Gusto ko pa rin ang buhay ko, gaano man kabigat ang mga pagsubok, nalulusutan pa rin, isa pa, kung nakaraos ka sa unang pagsubok, ibig sabihin, handa ka na para sa mas mabigat na pagsubok, kaya bumagsak na silang lahat para maubos. . .

To Angie:

Tama ka diyan Angie, wala na akong maidadagdag pa sa mga sinabi mo. Salamat, maraming maraming salamat sa iyo. AT sana bumagsak na talaga lahat ng pagsubok para nang maubos! Now me lang narinig yan Anj! Okay keep blogging!
